Welcome to new #FasterThanCancer Current Technology Dragster sponsor Wilwood Disc Brakes.

Steve met the guys from Wilwood at PRI in Indianapolis and came up with a design that will work with the dragster to help with stopping power for the 2000lb electric dragster.

History: Current Technology Electric Dragster is the world's first and only 200mph electric car in the 1/4 mile. History was made in 2020 when the team set the record in Tuscon, AZ and then upped the record at our home track at Pacific Raceways later that summer. In the fall of 2020 Steve Huff was diagnosed with Stage 4 Upper Tract Urothelial Cancer. After 3 rounds of radiation on his spine (where the cancer spread) and 6 rounds of chemotherapy at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and UW Medical Center, Steve is now receiving immunotherapy and thriving while living with cancer. In 2021 we developed the first #FasterThanCancer fundraising event that is now becoming a 501c3 non-profit formed with the intent to inspire, educate, and support our community through fundraising & marketing focused on living with cancer. www.FasterThanCancer.org Steve Huff is has set over 17 world and national speed records and continues to race on 2 wheels, 4 wheels and no wheels (hydroplane).
